A high-risk pregnancy is involved when the body is not fit to give birth to a child. This could be due to a young age at birth or delivery after the age of 35. This can also be due to lifestyle factors such as alcohol or smoking. A high-risk pregnancy can also be due to pre-existing health conditions or pregnancy-related health conditions.
There are many cases of high-risk pregnancies where, due to a little carelessness, premature birth of a child has taken place or the child is born with a defect. Those patients who have taken extra care during high-risk pregnancies have delivered healthy children. There are many examples of such patients who have delivered healthy children even though they were having high-risk pregnancies, and also, in later years, they have been living without any side effects.
